Blogger or Wordpress?
Blogger. I looked at Wordpress but I can barely turn the computer on, much less wade thru HTML coding.
Favorite widget or plugin? Favorite Wi-who? What?
What’s one thing that people don’t know about you? How about two? I was a gun toting police officer for exactly 4 weeks a long, long time ago. And I paid for my last two years of college working on a salmon tender in Alaska. Now I work in a cubicle. Life is funny like that.
While we are at it, what’s your theme song? Hmmm. I love everything from Neil Diamond to Eminem. My favorite running song is Melissa Etheridge's I Run for Life. I know it's about breast cancer but I can't help but think about my girl - the scar on her chest from her heart surgery, the darkness when we first learned about her little extra, & not giving up. The last few lines: ...And someday if they tell you about it, if the darkness knocks on your door, remember her, remember me..." Chokes me up, every time. I hope new moms with unexpected news see my girl and our life and take comfort. Hopefully I won't be complaining about work that day.

Um, yeah. I don't really cook. I'd bring chocolate, wine, cheese, & bread. Carbs, fat, sugar, & booze make everything better. Oh, and coffee. Vats and vats of coffee.

What got you blogging and what keeps you going? /How have you seen your blog/blogging style change and how would you like to see it develop?
Ha! I didn't actually start till my daughter was almost 2, so I don't fall into that New Baby! With Ds! category. I just wanted a place to post pictures for my grandmother (Gigi) and the rest of the family. I started adding little explanatory captions, the captions got longer, and then I used the space for some weirdly long, completely inane rants about random things. I did everything "wrong" but still managed to find some fabulous kindred souls online that are now dear real life friends. I keep writing because it amuses me, sometimes it's a quiet place to vent, and because of this community. And because Gigi still expects her pictures.

Nowhere! I just joined Facebook last year, am not crafty enough for Pintrest, and try to remain un-Googleable for work. I am, however, a Words with Friends slut and have lots of anonymous games going. Mobile user KRLR, if any of y'all are looking for some action.
